Welcome!

Your journey to better health does not have to be complicated.

The latest science and ancient wisdom tell us healing is a personal journey. We are all unique, which is why trends and fad diets don’t work. The journey involves exploring lifestyle changes, learning what foods nourish your body, and finding joy in preparing and eating meals.

My name is Michiko, I was born and grew up in Nara, Japan. As a Functional Nutritionist and longevity expert, I am passionate about helping people find better health through plant-based eating, Japanese cooking, mindful eating, and chado, Japanese tea ceremony.

Food is your best friend and medicine.

Traditional Japanese soup with mochi, vegetables, and fish, served in a red bowl with a black lid on a woven placemat.

You can enjoy better health, less stress, and increased energy.

I work with people who are ready to take control of their health and are interested in a food-centric approach.

Many of my patients come to me for issues with:

  • Weight

  • Digestion

  • Sleep

  • Chronic illness

  • Fatigue

  • Immune disorder

As a Japanese Functional Nutritionist, I look beyond symptoms to investigate the root cause. I create a personalized plan for your unique body and needs.

Along the way, you will find that natural, whole foods, traditional Japanese cooking wisdom, and mindful eating practices can all be powerful friends on your path to health and healing in a long-term healthy lifestyle.

Love Yourself.

Eat Well. Cook Well. Love Yourself.

“Beautiful - Wow, Michiko, thanks for the meal plan, I love it. I will make it as you said and freeze everything. I will try to cook more, eat better, and love myself. I love this way of cooking to eat more vegetables. Before, the taste was boring, and I did not add any condiments or additionals. Now, it is an explosion of flavors. Thank you!”

I really enjoy healthy Japanese food, and I’ve been feeling much better eating lots of miso, veggies, and fermented foods.
