Immune Boost Carrot, Ginger, Sesame Dressing


Versatile Dressing!

This is one of my clients’ favorite recipes!


This super immune-friendly dressing can be your everyday friend with any dishes. This bright orange color invites smiles and happiness to your tables. ☺

Ingredients 

Yield: 6 servings (10-12 dumplings per serving)

  • 3 medium carrots (300g) cut to 1-2 inches

  • 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce

  • ½ lemon, quartered (or orange)

  • ½ cup water

  • ¼ cup rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

  • 4 TBS roasted ground brown sesame seeds

  • 1 TBS ground flax seeds*

  • 2 TBS fresh ginger

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (or 1 TBS white miso )

  • A pinch of sea-salt

  • 2 TBS Extra virgin olive oil

    Optional for extra Omega-3*

Directions

Place all ingredients into a blender, starting with the liquids and apple sauce, then blend until a smooth puree. Continue blending while drizzling in olive oil, aiming for the center one tablespoon at a time.

Serving suggestion

Serve with sliced apples, carrot sticks, natto, fermented vegetables, kimchi, or green leafy vegetables.
